Wellness Wereld respects your privacy and processes personal data only as permitted by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This statement explains which data we process, why we do so and what rights you have.

1. Who is responsible for your data?

2. Which data do we process?

• Order data: name, billing and delivery address, e-mail address, telephone number, and the details of your order and payment.
• Contact and quotation forms: the data you enter yourself, such as your name, e-mail address, telephone number and your question.
• Newsletter: your e-mail address, if you subscribe.
• Technical data: IP address, browser and device data, and your browsing behaviour on our website, collected through cookies.

We do not process special categories of personal data and our webshop is not directed at children under the age of 16.

3. What do we use your data for?

• Processing, delivering and invoicing your order.
• Answering your question or quotation request and providing customer service, warranty and returns handling.
• Keeping the administration we are legally required to keep.
• Sending our newsletter, if you have given consent.
• Measuring and improving the use of our website.

4. On what legal basis?

We process your data to perform our agreement with you, to comply with a legal obligation (such as the statutory retention period for tax records), on the basis of your consent (newsletter and non-essential cookies), or on the basis of our legitimate interest in a secure and properly functioning webshop.

5. Who do we share data with?

We never sell your data. We share it only with the parties we need in order to provide our service:

• CCV Shop – the software and hosting of this webshop.
• Our payment service provider – to handle your payment securely. Your full payment details are never visible to us.
• Carriers and installation partners – for delivery and, where agreed, installation of your product.
• Our bookkeeper and accountant – for our financial administration.
• Google Analytics – for visitor statistics, only if you accept statistics cookies.

We have data processing agreements with these parties, stating that they may use your data only on our instructions and must protect it appropriately.

6. How long do we keep your data?

No longer than necessary. We keep order and invoice data for seven years, as required by the Dutch tax authorities. Contact form data is kept for a maximum of two years after our last contact. Your newsletter subscription is kept until you unsubscribe.

7. Cookies

Our website uses functional cookies that are necessary for the webshop and your shopping basket to work, and statistics cookies to measure how the site is used. For non-essential cookies we ask your consent through the notice at the bottom of the site. You can always delete or block cookies through your browser settings.

8. What rights do you have?

• Access to the data we hold about you.
• Correction of inaccurate data.
• Erasure of your data, insofar as we are not legally required to keep it.
• Restriction of, or objection to, the processing.
• Transfer of your data (data portability).
• Withdrawal of consent you gave earlier.

Send your request to info@wellnesswereld.com. We will respond within four weeks. We may ask you to confirm your identity, so that we do not disclose data to the wrong person.

9. Security

Our website runs entirely over a secure https connection and we take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. If you believe something is wrong with our security or that data is not properly protected, please contact us straight away.

10. Complaints

If you are not satisfied with the way we handle your data, please tell us first – we would like to put it right. You also always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
